The Denver Broncos opened their 2026 season with a commanding 34-13 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs. This win sets a strong tone for the Broncos as they look to build momentum in a competitive division. The Chiefs, on the other hand, will need to regroup after a disappointing start. Tyler Shough led the Broncos' offense with an impressive performance, throwing for 219 yards and two touchdown passes. Chase Brown was a force on the ground, racking up 164 rushing yards, while Kenyon Sadiq showcased his skills in the air with 147 receiving yards. Together, this trio was instrumental in establishing Denver's dominance throughout the game. On the defensive side, Payton Wilson made a significant impact for the Broncos, snagging two interceptions that turned the tide in their favor. While Gabe Jacas of the Chiefs stood out with three total tackles and two sacks, his efforts weren't enough to counter Denver's relentless offensive attack. The crucial moment came when Wilson's second interception halted a promising Chiefs drive, allowing the Broncos to extend their lead and solidify their victory.
