In a thrilling Week 16 matchup, the Philadelphia Eagles narrowly defeated the Houston Texans 28-26, solidifying their playoff positioning as the regular season winds down. With both teams vying for a crucial win, this game showcased the high stakes of late-season football. Eagles quarterback Tanner McKee had an impressive outing, amassing 265 passing yards and leading the ground game with 76 rushing yards. His performance was pivotal, proving to be the dual-threat that kept the Texans' defense on its heels. On the other side, Houston’s C.J. Stroud threw for two touchdowns, with standout receiver Tank Dell racking up 147 receiving yards, keeping the Texans competitive throughout the contest. Defensively, the Eagles were led by Kelee Ringo, who tallied six total tackles, contributing to a solid performance that stifled key drives. However, the defining moment came late in the fourth quarter when the Eagles held strong on a critical fourth down, preventing the Texans from taking the lead. With both teams battling fiercely, Philadelphia's defense made just enough stops to secure the victory and maintain their momentum heading into the postseason.
