In a thrilling Week 15 matchup, the Cincinnati Bengals narrowly defeated the Carolina Panthers 28-24, solidifying their playoff hopes with just a few games left in the season. The stakes were high as both teams battled for positioning in the playoff race, but it was the Bengals who emerged victorious in a tightly contested affair. Offensively, Bryce Young of the Panthers shone brightly, racking up 208 passing yards and tossing two touchdowns, while Chuba Hubbard contributed significantly with 69 rushing yards. Darren Waller was a key target, leading Carolina's receiving corps with 88 yards, keeping the Bengals' defense on their toes throughout the game. Despite the offensive fireworks from the Panthers, it was the Bengals' balanced attack that ultimately sealed the win. Defensively, Kyle Dugger led the Bengals with five total tackles, contributing to a solid effort against a potent Panthers offense. The game’s turning point came in the fourth quarter when Jordan Battle intercepted a critical pass, shifting momentum back to Cincinnati. The Bengals' ability to capitalize on that turnover allowed them to maintain their lead and secure the win, underscoring the importance of defense in this nail-biter.
