In a commanding performance, the New Orleans Saints topped the Cleveland Browns with a final score of 45-21, solidifying their position in the playoff race as the 2026 season reaches its midpoint. The Saints showcased their offensive prowess, while the Browns struggled to keep pace, ultimately falling short in this Week 9 matchup. Leading the way for New Orleans was Kendre Miller, who rushed for an impressive 122 yards, complemented by Tyler Shough's efficient passing for 217 yards. Chris Olave emerged as a key target, racking up 125 receiving yards. Despite Shedeur Sanders throwing three touchdown passes for Cleveland, it wasn't enough to overcome the Saints' offensive firepower. Defensively, the Saints made their mark with Danny Stutsman grabbing two crucial interceptions, which turned the momentum in their favor. Although Jared Verse of the Browns managed to record two sacks, the Saints' defense consistently pressured Cleveland's offense, stifling their attempts at a comeback. The turning point came in the second quarter when Stutsman's interceptions set up two quick touchdowns, allowing the Saints to pull away and control the game for the remainder.
