On the defensive side, the Eagles put on a clinic, stifling the Jaguars and not allowing them to find any rhythm throughout the game. The Jaguars struggled to move the ball, and the Eagles took advantage of every opportunity, forcing turnovers and applying pressure. The turning point came early when the Eagles' defense shut down a promising Jacksonville drive, setting the tone for a one-sided affair in which the Jaguars never found a foothold.
