In a tightly contested matchup, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers narrowly defeated the Cleveland Browns 13-10, improving their record to 2-0 in the young 2026 season. The stakes were high as both teams sought to establish early momentum, but it was the Buccaneers who managed to come out on top. Baker Mayfield led the Bucs with a steady performance, throwing for a crucial touchdown while Bucky Irving was a force on the ground, racking up 94 rushing yards. On the other side, Shedeur Sanders showcased his passing ability for the Browns, throwing for 303 yards, and Jerry Jeudy emerged as a standout receiver with a remarkable 181 yards, but it wasn't enough to clinch the victory. The defensive units played pivotal roles in this game, with Tampa Bay's Yaya Diaby making his presence felt by recording two sacks, disrupting the Cleveland offense. The game's turning point came late in the fourth quarter when Tykee Smith intercepted a critical pass, allowing the Buccaneers to maintain their lead and ultimately secure the win.
