The Pittsburgh Steelers secured a decisive 35-13 victory over the Denver Broncos in the Wildcard Round of the 2026 season. This win propels the Steelers into the next stage of the playoffs, showcasing their dominance on both sides of the ball against a struggling Broncos squad. Eli Heidenreich was the standout performer for Pittsburgh, amassing an impressive 193 rushing yards, which set the tone for the Steelers' offense. Bo Nix of the Broncos managed to throw for 170 yards and a touchdown, but his efforts were overshadowed by the relentless ground game of the Steelers and the stellar playmaking from Jaylen Waddle, who led Denver's receiving corps with 78 yards. Pittsburgh's defense was a key factor in their victory, with standout performances from T.J. Watt, who recorded a sack, and Jaquan Brisker, who intercepted a pass, stifling any momentum Denver tried to build. The game's turning point came when Brisker’s interception halted a potential scoring drive for the Broncos, allowing Pittsburgh to capitalize and extend their lead, ultimately sealing the game.
