The most physical coverage defenders prevent catches from happening even when their target has hands on the ball. When they enter the zone, they are nearly guaranteed knockouts.
GoldMedium Route KO
OVR 75+Defenders with this ability have a greatly improved chance to succeed at catch tackle knockouts, and a longer knockout window, in man-to-man versus medium routes 10-20 yards from the LoS. Upgrades with MCV, COD, and ACC.
GoldDeep Out Zone KO
OVR 80+Defenders with this ability have a greatly improved chance to force catch knockouts, a longer knockout window, and react quicker in deep zone coverage, 20+ yards from the LoS and outside the hash marks. Upgrades with ZCV, SPD, and AWR.
GoldOne Step Ahead
OVR 85+Defenders with this ability have a greatly increased chance to react much faster to receiver cut moves when in man coverage. Upgrades with MCV, COD, and PRC.
Menace
OVR 95+Defenders with this ability play more powerful catch tackles that force slightly increased knockouts and fatigue penalties on Perfect catch tackles. Upgrades with TAK, ZCV, and POW.
