In a commanding performance, the Detroit Lions defeated the Green Bay Packers 22-0 in Week 18 of the 2026 season. With playoff implications on the line, the Lions secured their spot with a decisive victory, showcasing their dominance on both sides of the ball. Quarterback Dan Orlovsky led the charge for Detroit, throwing for 266 yards and a touchdown, while running back Kevin Jones rushed for an impressive 111 yards. Matt Jones also contributed significantly, racking up 84 receiving yards, creating a dynamic offensive attack that left the Packers struggling to keep pace. Defensively, the Lions were a force to be reckoned with, highlighted by Shaun Rogers' 1.5 sacks that disrupted Green Bay's offensive flow. The turning point came early in the second half when the Lions' defense stifled a potential scoring drive, allowing them to maintain momentum and ultimately seal the shutout. Ahmad Carroll of the Packers tallied seven tackles, but it wasn't enough to turn the tide against a relentless Detroit squad.
