In a dominant performance, the New England Patriots cruised to a 62-7 victory over the Minnesota Vikings in Week 14 of the 2026 season. With playoff implications on the line, the Patriots showcased their offensive firepower and defensive prowess, solidifying their position as a contender in the league. Tom Brady was nothing short of spectacular, throwing for 353 yards and five touchdowns, effectively dismantling the Vikings' secondary. Corey Dillon contributed significantly on the ground, amassing 147 rushing yards, while Troy Brown emerged as Brady's favorite target with 127 receiving yards. The offensive line provided ample protection, allowing Brady to operate with confidence throughout the game. Defensively, the Patriots were relentless, applying pressure that culminated in Richard Seymour's 1.5 sacks and an interception from Asante Samuel. The turning point came in the second quarter when the Patriots scored three touchdowns in quick succession, leaving the Vikings unable to recover. Antoine Winfield recorded eight tackles for Minnesota, but it was clear the Patriots' defense set the tone, forcing the Vikings into a series of mistakes that sealed the outcome.
