In a dominant display, the San Francisco 49ers cruised to a 70-16 victory over the Minnesota Vikings in Week 11 of the 2026 season. With playoff positioning at stake, the 49ers showcased their offensive firepower, leaving the Vikings struggling to keep pace throughout the game. Quarterback Alex Smit led the charge for San Francisco, throwing for an impressive seven touchdown passes, while the Vikings' Tarvaris Jackson stood out in a losing effort with 450 passing yards. Despite a lack of a significant ground game, Frank Gore managed to contribute 24 rushing yards. Bethel Johnson was the standout receiver for Minnesota, racking up 225 yards, but it wasn't enough to overcome the offensive onslaught. Defensively, the 49ers were relentless, with Walter Harris making a significant impact by snagging two interceptions. Jamal Foreman added to the pressure with a sack, helping to stifle any momentum the Vikings attempted to build. The turning point came early in the second quarter when Smit connected for his third touchdown pass, extending the lead to 28-10 and firmly establishing San Francisco's dominance for the remainder of the game.
