The Houston Texans dominated the Cleveland Browns with a convincing 41-17 victory in Week 10 of the 2026 season. With this win, the Texans solidify their position in the playoff hunt, while the Browns struggle to find their footing as the season progresses. David Carr was nothing short of spectacular, throwing for 490 yards and five touchdowns, showcasing his elite arm strength and precision. Jerome Mathis proved to be his favorite target, racking up an impressive 219 receiving yards, consistently stretching the field and creating mismatches in the Browns' secondary. On the ground, Jerome Harrison struggled to find any room, totaling just 11 rushing yards against a stout Texans defense. Defensively, the Texans made their presence felt, with Morlon Greenwood leading the charge with two sacks, pressuring the Browns' quarterback and disrupting the offensive rhythm. Phillip Buchanon contributed with four total tackles, ensuring that Cleveland had little room to operate. The turning point came when Carr connected with Mathis for a 75-yard touchdown in the second quarter, which shifted the momentum firmly in favor of Houston and left the Browns playing catch-up for the rest of the game.
