In a tightly contested matchup, the Carolina Panthers narrowly defeated the Denver Broncos, finishing with a final score of 14-10. With playoff implications on the line, both teams fought hard, but it was the Panthers who emerged victorious in this Week 9 showdown of the 2026 season. Bryce Young led the Panthers’ offense with an impressive performance, throwing for 237 yards and tossing two touchdown passes to secure the win. His ability to connect with Tetairoa McMillan, who racked up 100 receiving yards, proved crucial in maintaining offensive momentum. Meanwhile, RJ Harvey of the Broncos showcased his skills on the ground, rushing for 130 yards, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the Panthers' firepower. Defensively, the Broncos were led by Nik Bonitto, who had a standout game with four tackles and four sacks, putting pressure on Young throughout the contest. However, the game’s turning point came when Darnell Savage intercepted a critical pass from the Broncos, halting their drive and preserving the Panthers' slim lead. The Panthers' defense held strong when it mattered most, allowing them to secure the win and improve their playoff positioning.
