In a crucial Week 7 matchup, the Green Bay Packers topped the Detroit Lions 21-7, solidifying their position in the playoff race. With both teams vying for conference supremacy, the Packers were determined to maintain their momentum against a fierce divisional rival. Quarterback Jordan Love led the way for Green Bay, throwing for two touchdowns, while Jayden Reed emerged as the standout receiver with 89 yards. The ground game was less impactful, with Josh Jacobs managing only 34 rushing yards, but the aerial attack proved sufficient to secure the victory. Defensively, Zaire Franklin was a force for the Packers, racking up three sacks and three total tackles, while Xavier McKinney contributed with an interception that shifted the game’s momentum. The Lions struggled to find a rhythm, and the Packers' defense capitalized on key opportunities, notably during a crucial stretch in the second half that sealed the game.
