In a commanding performance, the Carolina Panthers topped the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 44-22 in Week 7 of the 2026 season. With playoff implications on the line, the Panthers delivered a decisive victory, showcasing their offensive prowess and solidifying their position in the standings. Bryce Young was the star of the show, throwing for an impressive 511 yards and six touchdowns, making him the standout offensive player of the game. Jordan Addison was a key target, racking up 246 receiving yards, while Chuba Hubbard contributed on the ground, though he was held to just 31 rushing yards. The Panthers' aerial assault proved too much for the Buccaneers' defense to handle. On the defensive side, Carolina's Bobby Okereke made a significant impact with two interceptions, helping to stifle any momentum the Buccaneers attempted to build. The turning point came when Young connected with Addison for a long touchdown, giving the Panthers a commanding lead that they never relinquished. Although Tampa’s Calijah Kancey recorded three sacks, it wasn't enough to change the tide of the game as the Panthers’ defense held firm and secured the win.
