In a nail-biter that came down to the final minutes, the Atlanta Falcons narrowly defeated the Baltimore Ravens 22-21 in Week 5 of the 2026 season. With both teams vying for position in the playoff race, this victory was crucial for Atlanta as they look to solidify their standing in the competitive NFC South. J.J. McCarthy led the charge for the Falcons, throwing for 276 yards and keeping the offense moving with precision. Meanwhile, Lamar Jackson showcased his dual-threat capabilities, tossing two touchdown passes and adding 57 rushing yards to his impressive stat line. Derrick Henry was a key target for Baltimore, racking up 124 receiving yards and proving to be a reliable option throughout the game. Defensively, Divine Deablo's interception proved to be a pivotal moment, halting a Ravens drive and shifting momentum to the Falcons. Despite strong performances by Trey Hendrickson, who recorded two sacks, and Trenton Simpson, who made four tackles, the Ravens could not contain the Falcons' late-game surge. Ultimately, Atlanta's defense stepped up when it mattered most, sealing the victory and keeping their playoff hopes alive.
