In a high-octane battle in Week 3 of the 2026 season, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers triumphed over the Minnesota Vikings with a final score of 57-45. Both teams entered the game looking to establish early dominance, but it was the Buccaneers who ultimately seized the momentum and secured the victory. Leading the charge for Tampa Bay was quarterback Baker Mayfield, who turned in a spectacular performance with 488 passing yards and an impressive seven touchdown passes. His ability to connect downfield was crucial, while the Vikings struggled to contain the explosive Buccaneers' offense. Justin Jefferson also shined for Minnesota, racking up a staggering 334 receiving yards, but it wasn't enough to keep pace with Mayfield's onslaught. Defensively, the Buccaneers made key plays that shifted the tide of the game. Yaya Diaby's two sacks and Benjamin Morrison's three interceptions were pivotal, as they disrupted Minnesota's rhythm and provided crucial turnovers. The turning point came when Morrison picked off a pass that led to a quick touchdown, giving Tampa Bay a lead they would not relinquish.
