In a decisive Week 2 matchup of the 2026 season, the Jacksonville Jaguars topped the Denver Broncos with a final score of 22-7. This victory not only boosts Jacksonville's early-season momentum but also highlights their potential as serious contenders in the league. Denver struggled to find their rhythm, leaving them searching for answers as they aim to rebound in the coming weeks. Trevor Lawrence led the Jaguars' offense with 181 passing yards, showcasing his ability to command the field effectively. Although the ground game was limited, Quinshon Judkins contributed with 29 rushing yards, while Bo Nix of the Broncos managed to toss a single touchdown pass. Courtland Sutton stood out for Denver with an impressive 97 receiving yards, but it wasn't enough to shift the game's momentum. Jacksonville's defense played a crucial role in securing the victory, highlighted by Antonio Johnson's two interceptions that stifled Denver's offensive efforts. Montaric Brown also made his presence felt with three tackles, consistently shutting down plays before they could develop. The turning point came when Johnson's second interception set up a critical scoring drive for the Jaguars, solidifying their lead and leaving the Broncos with little chance to respond.
