In a commanding performance to kick off the 2026 season, the Cleveland Browns defeated the Jacksonville Jaguars 30-7. The stakes were high as both teams aimed to establish early momentum in the new campaign, but it was the Browns who showcased dominance on both sides of the ball. Browns quarterback Taylen Green led the charge with an impressive 209 passing yards and added 55 rushing yards, proving to be a dual-threat throughout the game. KC Concepcion Jr. was his primary target, racking up 100 receiving yards and making key plays to keep the chains moving. Meanwhile, Trevor Lawrence managed only one touchdown for the Jaguars, struggling to find his rhythm against a formidable Browns defense. Defensively, Cleveland’s Tyson Campbell made a significant impact with two interceptions, turning the tide in the Browns' favor. The Jaguars' Josh Hines-Allen did his best to keep Jacksonville in the game with five tackles and three sacks, but it wasn't enough to counter Cleveland's offensive firepower. The turning point came in the second quarter when Campbell's first interception led to a touchdown, stretching the lead to 17-0 and putting the Jaguars in a deep hole they couldn't escape.
