In a crucial Week 13 matchup, the New York Giants topped the San Francisco 49ers with a final score of 33-21, further solidifying their playoff aspirations. The victory keeps the Giants in contention as the season heads into its final stretch, while the 49ers face increasing pressure to turn their fortunes around. Quarterback Josh Allen led the charge for New York, throwing for 258 yards and two touchdowns, showcasing his ability to make plays when it mattered most. Chris Johnson added a strong ground presence with 87 rushing yards, while Emeka Egbuka was a standout in the receiving game, racking up 96 yards to help propel the Giants' offense to success. On the defensive side, the 49ers struggled to contain the Giants' offensive firepower, despite Jack Campbell's impressive performance, which included 12 total tackles and a sack. The turning point came in the second half when the Giants scored back-to-back touchdowns, stretching their lead and putting the game out of reach for San Francisco. The inability of the 49ers' defense to make a key stop during that stretch ultimately sealed their fate in this pivotal contest.
