In a high-octane clash in Week 7 of the 2027 season, the Houston Texans topped the Indianapolis Colts with a final score of 45-31. The victory not only boosts Houston's playoff aspirations but also puts them firmly in control of their division as they continue to make strides in the competitive AFC South. Offensively, the Texans were led by an explosive performance from De'Von Achane, who racked up an impressive 231 rushing yards, while Tyreek Hill added 157 yards through the air, showcasing their dynamic playmaking ability. Despite the Colts' Anthony Richardson Sr. throwing for 391 yards and two touchdowns, it was Houston's balanced attack that proved too much to handle. Defensively, Kamari Lassiter was a standout for the Texans, contributing seven total tackles and an interception that shifted the momentum in Houston's favor. The turning point came late in the second quarter when Lassiter's pick set up a quick touchdown, extending the Texans' lead and allowing them to control the tempo for the remainder of the game. Houston's defense stepped up when it mattered, sealing the win and showcasing their ability to make crucial plays under pressure.
