The Detroit Lions secured a convincing 24-3 victory over the Green Bay Packers in Week 7 of the 2026 season, solidifying their position in the playoff race. With both teams vying for crucial momentum, the Lions showcased their dominance on home turf. Malik Willis led the charge for Detroit, throwing for 199 yards and three touchdowns, demonstrating his ability to command the offense effectively. Eli Stowers was his primary target, racking up an impressive 109 receiving yards, which provided the Lions with a potent aerial attack. The Lions' offense was efficient and relentless, making it difficult for the Packers to keep pace. On the defensive side, the Lions were just as formidable, with Justin Reid standing out with three total tackles and an interception that halted any potential momentum from Green Bay. The game's turning point came when Reid's pick shifted the momentum firmly in favor of Detroit, allowing them to extend their lead and ultimately seal the victory with a commanding performance. The combination of offensive prowess and defensive tenacity proved too much for the Packers to handle.
