In a commanding performance, the New England Patriots topped the Jacksonville Jaguars 31-10 in Week 3 of the 2026 season. The victory solidifies the Patriots' position in the AFC as they continue their quest for playoff positioning, while the Jaguars will need to regroup after this setback. Lamar Jackson led the charge for New England with 188 passing yards, showcasing his dual-threat capability throughout the game. Samaje Perine was a force on the ground, racking up 92 rushing yards to complement the passing attack, while Jackson Hawes emerged as a reliable target, finishing with 63 receiving yards. The offensive efficiency from the Patriots proved pivotal in securing the win. Defensively, the Jaguars struggled to contain New England, allowing key drives to extend and failing to generate consistent pressure, with Za'Darius Smith recording just half a sack. Chris Johnson stood out for Jacksonville with 10 total tackles, but the team's inability to make impactful stops ultimately turned the tide in favor of the Patriots. New England's balanced attack and strong defensive performance were instrumental in this decisive victory.
