In a promising start to the 2026 season, the Indianapolis Colts topped the Baltimore Ravens with a decisive 31-13 victory. The win not only sets the tone for the Colts but also marks a significant early statement against a formidable opponent. Quarterback Jared Goff led the charge for Indianapolis, throwing for 297 yards and four touchdowns, showcasing his ability to command the offense effectively. Chigoziem Okonkwo was a standout receiver, racking up 158 yards and proving to be Goff's favorite target throughout the game. On the ground, Jahmyr Gibbs of Baltimore managed to keep the Ravens competitive with 110 rushing yards, but the Colts' aerial attack proved too potent. Defensively, the Colts were relentless, with Cashius Howell leading the charge with 2.5 sacks, disrupting Baltimore's offensive flow. Charvarius Ward Sr. contributed with four total tackles, helping to stifle any momentum from the Ravens. The turning point came late in the second quarter when Goff connected with Okonkwo for a touchdown, extending the lead and forcing Baltimore to play catch-up, which they could not overcome.
