In a tightly contested Week 17 matchup, the Seattle Seahawks managed to hold off the Cincinnati Bengals, securing a 24-17 victory. Both teams entered the game with playoff implications on the line, making the stakes even higher as the regular season drew to a close. The Seahawks’ win not only boosts their playoff positioning but also adds a crucial win to their season tally. Jalen Milroe was the standout performer for Seattle, throwing for 267 yards and keeping the Bengals’ defense on their heels throughout the game. Joe Burrow, despite his impressive passing touchdown, was unable to match Milroe's production, finishing with a solitary touchdown. Cincinnati's Chase Brown contributed significantly on the ground with 77 rushing yards, while Ja'Marr Chase shone in the receiving game, racking up 99 yards. On the defensive side, Cincinnati's Amir Porter led the charge with nine total tackles, but it was Boye Mafe's two sacks that highlighted the Bengals' defensive effort. Ultimately, the game’s turning point came in the fourth quarter when Seattle's defense made a critical stop, allowing them to maintain their lead in the closing minutes. The Seahawks' ability to stifle Cincinnati's momentum proved pivotal in their successful bid to outlast the Bengals.
