Around the league

That OVR bump for Dak at age 33? It’s a quiet sign he’s still climbing, and that team’s got a steady hand behind center who keeps getting better.

George Pickens got a DRR +5. this could mean he's about to start catching more of those deep throws that make defenses second-guess.

@SterlingScoops

Puka Nacua’s contract is three years, $51 million, with $34 million guaranteed. The Rams should extend now while his price stays low. He’s still on a cheap deal and could get paid like a top receiver if they wait too long.

The top storyline is the battle between Zay Flowers and Sauce Gardner. this matchup could shape playoff implications — whoever wins the WR1 versus CB1 duel might tip the scales early in week 1.

The biggest thing to watch is how Demario Davis and Minkah Fitzpatrick work together to shut down the Titans' attack. With playoff implications on the line, their ability to anchor the defense could make all the difference in Week 1.

This league, I tell you. Chris Olave against D.J. Reed is a key matchup — if Olave gets loose, it could open up the Saints’ attack early. With playoff implications hanging, this battle outside might set the tone for the whole game.

This game could have playoff implications, so every play matters. Watch how DJ Turner II tries to slow down Ja'Marr Chase — if he can't, that Bengals passing attack might be too much for the Buccaneers to handle.

The 49ers and Rams open the season with big stakes in the division race. Watch Mike Evans go head-to-head with Trent McDuffie — that matchup could set the tone for playoff implications down the line.
