In a thrilling Week 5 matchup, the Dallas Cowboys outlasted the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with a final score of 31-21. The victory keeps the Cowboys firmly in contention as they continue to build momentum in the 2026 season, while the Buccaneers face questions about their ability to bounce back. Baker Mayfield had a standout performance for Tampa Bay, accumulating 300 passing yards and throwing three touchdowns, showcasing his ability to move the ball through the air. However, it was Bhayshul Tuten of the Cowboys who stole the show, rushing for 122 yards and adding an impressive 193 receiving yards, making him a dual threat that the Buccaneers struggled to contain. Defensively, the Cowboys were able to make critical plays, with Lewis Cine stepping up to secure two interceptions that shifted the momentum in Dallas's favor. Quinnen Williams also made his presence felt with three tackles, but it was the turnovers that proved to be the game's turning point, as they allowed the Cowboys to maintain control and ultimately seal the victory.
