In a decisive Week 3 matchup, the Atlanta Falcons topped the Green Bay Packers 35-20, marking a crucial victory early in the 2026 season. This win bolsters the Falcons' momentum as they look to establish themselves as contenders in the NFC South. The Falcons' offensive performance was highlighted by a standout display from Bijan Robinson, who dominated the ground game with an impressive 220 rushing yards. Quarterback Michael Penix Jr. contributed significantly as well, tossing two touchdown passes to help secure the win. Meanwhile, Jordan Love of the Packers led his team with 216 passing yards, but it wasn't enough to keep pace with Atlanta's explosive offense. Defensively, the Falcons made their mark with a strong performance that included two interceptions from Divine Deablo, which shifted the momentum in Atlanta's favor. Sydney Brown led the team with six total tackles, while James Pearce Jr. added a sack to disrupt the Packers' rhythm. The turning point came in the second quarter when Deablo's interception set up a crucial touchdown drive, allowing the Falcons to pull ahead and never look back.
