The Philadelphia Eagles secured a crucial 19-10 victory over the Houston Texans in Week 16, solidifying their playoff position as the season nears its climax. With both teams looking for momentum heading into the postseason, the Eagles managed to hold off a late charge from the Texans to clinch the win. Jalen Hurts led the Eagles’ offense with a steady performance, tossing one touchdown pass while guiding his team through a balanced attack. Saquon Barkley contributed significantly on the ground, racking up 62 rushing yards to keep the chains moving. For the Texans, C.J. Stroud showcased his ability with 243 passing yards, but the offense struggled to find the end zone when it mattered most, with Nico Collins leading the receiving corps with 92 yards. The Eagles' defense played a pivotal role in the outcome, with Jalen Carter notching a key sack that disrupted Houston's rhythm. Kamari Ramsey was a standout on the tackling front, finishing with six total tackles, while Denzel Ward made a crucial interception to thwart a Texans scoring opportunity. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter when the Eagles defense stiffened, forcing Houston to settle for a field goal instead of a potential game-tying touchdown.
