In a dominating performance, the New England Patriots topped the Minnesota Vikings 48-7 in Week 14 of the 2026 season, solidifying their playoff aspirations and leaving the Vikings searching for answers. The victory showcased the Patriots' offensive prowess as they continued their push for postseason glory. Quarterback Drake Maye led the charge for New England, throwing for an impressive 358 yards and three touchdowns, showcasing his ability to stretch the field effectively. A.J. Brown was a standout target, racking up 185 receiving yards, proving to be nearly unstoppable for the Vikings' defense. Although TreVeyon Henderson managed just 52 rushing yards, the Patriots’ aerial assault was more than enough to secure the victory. Defensively, New England applied consistent pressure, highlighted by Darius Muasau's interception that shifted momentum early in the game. While the Patriots didn't rack up many sacks, they stifled the Vikings' offensive rhythm throughout, with Blake Cashman leading Minnesota's defense in tackles. The game’s turning point came when Maye connected with Brown for a long touchdown, which ignited a scoring barrage that the Vikings could not overcome.
