In a decisive Week 3 matchup, the New Orleans Saints dominated the Las Vegas Raiders with a final score of 28-7, marking a significant victory for the Saints as they look to establish their dominance early in the 2026 season. This win solidifies New Orleans' position in the league and sets the tone for their upcoming games. Tyler Shough was the standout performer for the Saints, throwing for 180 yards and three touchdown passes, showcasing his ability to lead the offense effectively. Travis Etienne Jr. added to the offensive firepower with 73 rushing yards, while Dont'e Thornton Jr. led the Raiders in receiving with 73 yards, but it wasn't enough to match the Saints' offensive efficiency. Defensively, the Saints were bolstered by Lorenzo Styles Jr., who intercepted a pass, disrupting the Raiders' rhythm at a critical moment. The turning point came in the second quarter when Styles' interception set up another touchdown for New Orleans, shifting the momentum squarely in their favor. While Maxx Crosby recorded two sacks for the Raiders, it was the Saints' defensive plays that ultimately sealed the game, limiting Las Vegas to just one touchdown.
