The Jacksonville Jaguars narrowly defeated the Houston Texans 28-25 in a thrilling Week 15 matchup that kept both teams in the playoff conversation. With the stakes high, the Jaguars managed to hold off a late charge from the Texans, securing a crucial victory as the season winds down. Trevor Lawrence led the Jaguars' offense with two touchdown passes, showcasing his ability to make big plays when it mattered most. Meanwhile, C.J. Stroud threw for an impressive 380 yards for the Texans, but it was Tank Dell who shone brightly, racking up 114 receiving yards and keeping the pressure on Jacksonville's defense throughout the game. Defensively, the Jaguars were bolstered by a standout performance from Israel Mukuamu, who recorded four interceptions, a remarkable feat that shifted momentum in Jacksonville's favor. The game's turning point came late in the fourth quarter when Mukuamu's pick set up a crucial touchdown, allowing the Jaguars to extend their lead just as the Texans were mounting a comeback. Will Anderson Jr. did his best to keep the Texans competitive with four sacks and solid tackling, but ultimately, it wasn't enough to secure the win.
