In a commanding performance, the Houston Texans topped the Indianapolis Colts 38-7 in Week 2 of the 2027 season. The victory not only bolsters the Texans' early-season ambitions but also showcases their offensive prowess in a strong divisional matchup. C.J. Stroud was nothing short of sensational, throwing for an eye-popping 512 yards and five touchdowns, leading the Texans' explosive offense. Nico Collins was his primary target, racking up an impressive 236 receiving yards, while Mark Fletcher Jr. added a solid ground game with 93 rushing yards. Together, they orchestrated a relentless attack that kept the Colts' defense on their heels all game. While the Colts struggled to find their rhythm, Kool-Aid McKinstry did his best to hold the line with eight tackles and two interceptions. However, the turning point came when Stroud connected with Collins for a 75-yard touchdown in the second quarter, which shifted the momentum entirely in favor of Houston. The Texans' defense, though not heavily tested, benefited from the pressure created by their offense, allowing them to control the tempo of the game.
