In a commanding performance, the Jacksonville Jaguars defeated the Houston Texans 31-14 in Week 3 of the 2027 season. Both teams entered the game looking to establish early momentum, but it was the Jaguars who showcased their dominance and solidified their standing in the league. Trevor Lawrence was the standout performer for Jacksonville, throwing for 229 yards and two touchdowns, effectively leading the offense. He connected frequently with Elijah Arroyo, who racked up an impressive 125 receiving yards, providing Lawrence with a reliable target throughout the game. Isaac Brown contributed significantly on the ground with 61 rushing yards, balancing the Jaguars' offensive attack. Defensively, Jacksonville made their mark with a strong effort, highlighted by Terrion Arnold's two interceptions that turned the tide in favor of the Jaguars. Antonio Johnson led the team with six total tackles, containing the Texans' offensive drives. The game's pivotal moment came when Arnold's second interception set up a touchdown, extending Jacksonville's lead and leaving Houston with little room to mount a comeback.
