In a high-octane showdown, the Minnesota Vikings took down the San Francisco 49ers with a final score of 55 to 35, marking an impressive Week 3 victory in the 2027 season. Both teams sought to establish dominance early, but it was the Vikings who ultimately prevailed, showcasing their offensive prowess. Leading the charge for Minnesota was Ahmad Hardy, who racked up an astounding 293 rushing yards, a performance that kept the 49ers' defense on its heels all game long. San Francisco's Brock Purdy also shone brightly, throwing for 356 yards and four touchdowns, but his efforts were overshadowed by the Vikings' relentless ground game and timely scoring. Defensively, the Vikings made key plays that shifted momentum in their favor. Andrew Van Ginkel not only led the team with five total tackles but also contributed a crucial sack, while Isaiah Rodgers Sr. made his mark with two interceptions. The turning point came when Rodgers snagged his second interception, halting a potential 49ers comeback and allowing Minnesota to maintain control en route to their victory.
