The New Orleans Saints topped the Cincinnati Bengals 30-13 in a decisive Week 12 matchup of the 2026 season, solidifying their playoff aspirations. With this victory, the Saints asserted their dominance in the NFC South, while the Bengals struggled to keep pace in a competitive AFC North. Tyler Shough led the offensive charge for New Orleans, throwing for an impressive 303 yards and three touchdowns. He found a reliable target in Chris Olave, who racked up 103 receiving yards, providing the Saints with big plays when they needed them most. Meanwhile, Travis Etienne Jr. contributed on the ground with 73 rushing yards, helping to keep the Bengals' defense on its heels throughout the game. Defensively, the Saints were relentless, with Justin Reid leading the way with six total tackles, ensuring that the Bengals’ offense never found a rhythm. The turning point came when New Orleans' defense stifled a Cincinnati drive late in the first half, forcing a turnover that allowed the Saints to extend their lead. Cashius Howell's two sacks for the Bengals showcased their defensive effort, but it ultimately wasn't enough to change the outcome of this contest.
