The Houston Texans topped the Green Bay Packers 27-20 in a pivotal Week 17 matchup that had playoff implications. With the victory, the Texans solidified their postseason positioning, while the Packers faced a critical setback in their quest for a wildcard spot. C.J. Stroud shined for the Texans, throwing for two touchdowns and helping his team build an early lead. Despite a strong effort from Jordan Love, who racked up 238 passing yards for the Packers, it was Stroud’s efficiency that made the difference. On the ground, Josh Jacobs led Green Bay with 100 rushing yards, but the Texans’ defense kept him mostly in check when it mattered. Defensively, Calen Bullock was a standout for Houston, making eight total tackles and helping to stifle the Packers' offensive rhythm. The game’s turning point came in the fourth quarter when Kamari Lassiter intercepted a crucial pass, preventing Green Bay from tying the game and allowing the Texans to maintain their lead. Houston’s defensive efforts, combined with timely plays from Stroud, secured a vital win as the season nears its conclusion.
