In a decisive matchup, the New England Patriots triumphed over the Denver Broncos with a final score of 34-7, solidifying their playoff positioning in Week 17 of the 2026 season. The Patriots showcased their dominance, overpowering the Broncos in all facets of the game. Drake Maye led New England's offense, throwing for 188 yards and a touchdown, effectively steering the team to victory. RJ Harvey had a strong performance for Denver, rushing for 96 yards, while Jaylen Waddle contributed with 69 receiving yards. However, it was the Patriots' balanced offensive attack that proved too much for the Broncos to handle. Defensively, New England made a significant impact, with Gabe Jacas recording 1.5 sacks and Carlton Davis III securing a crucial interception. The turning point came in the second quarter when Davis's interception set up a touchdown drive, allowing the Patriots to pull ahead and maintain control throughout the game. The Broncos struggled to respond, unable to capitalize on their offensive opportunities as New England's defense held firm.
