The Jacksonville Jaguars took control in Week 15 of the 2026 season, defeating the Houston Texans 34-10. This victory solidifies Jacksonville's playoff aspirations as they continue to build momentum heading into the postseason. The Texans, on the other hand, struggle to find their footing as the season winds down. Trevor Lawrence showcased his prowess under center, throwing for 254 yards and two touchdowns, leading the Jaguars' offense with precision and poise. Parker Washington was a standout in the receiving game, racking up 132 yards and proving to be a reliable target for Lawrence. Meanwhile, Ty Chandler provided a bright spot for Houston, rushing for 72 yards, but the Texans' offense ultimately struggled to keep pace. The Jaguars’ defense played a crucial role in the outcome, limiting the Texans to just ten points and forcing a critical turnover. Foyesade Oluokun's interception not only shifted momentum but also highlighted Jacksonville’s ability to capitalize on Houston's mistakes. With Sheldon Rankins earning two sacks for the Texans, the defensive effort was commendable, yet it wasn't enough to turn the tide in this lopsided affair.
