In a hard-fought battle, the New Orleans Saints triumphed over the Carolina Panthers with a final score of 24-18, securing a crucial victory in Week 14 of the 2026 season. The stakes were high as both teams jockey for playoff positioning, but it was the Saints who came out on top in a tightly contested matchup. Tyler Shough led the Saints' offense with a strong performance, throwing for 231 yards and connecting on key plays throughout the game. Jordyn Tyson proved to be his favorite target, racking up 99 receiving yards and providing the Saints with crucial first downs. For the Panthers, Bryce Young showcased his abilities as well, tossing two touchdown passes, but it wasn’t enough to secure the win. Defensively, the Saints made impactful plays that shifted momentum in their favor. Davon Godchaux recorded a pivotal sack, while the Panthers' Mike Jackson tallied nine tackles and an interception, keeping the game competitive. However, the turning point came when the Saints' defense stood tall in the fourth quarter, stifling a late push from Carolina and ultimately sealing their victory.
