The Tennessee Titans topped the Washington Commanders 34-24 in a crucial Week 13 showdown, solidifying their playoff aspirations in the 2026 season. With both teams vying for a stronger position in the postseason race, this victory was pivotal for the Titans as they look to maintain momentum heading into the final stretch of the season. Tennessee's offense was led by quarterback Cam Ward, who threw for 257 yards and three touchdowns, showcasing his ability to distribute the ball effectively. Nick Singleton provided a solid ground game with 67 rushing yards, while Chimere Dike emerged as Ward's favorite target, racking up 77 receiving yards. Their combined efforts helped the Titans establish a balanced attack that kept the Commanders' defense on their heels. Defensively, the Titans were anchored by Alontae Taylor, who recorded seven total tackles, playing a crucial role in stifling Washington's offensive rhythm. The turning point came late in the third quarter when Tennessee's defense forced a turnover that shifted the momentum firmly in their favor, allowing them to secure the win and keep their playoff hopes alive. Meanwhile, Odafe Oweh of the Commanders was a standout on defense, tallying two sacks, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the Titans' offensive firepower.
