In a dominant display, the Arizona Cardinals toppled the Washington Commanders with a staggering final score of 55-7, solidifying their place in the playoff race. Week 12 proved to be a crucial contest for both teams, as Arizona aimed to maintain momentum while Washington sought to stay competitive in a challenging season. Arizona's offense was a well-oiled machine, led by quarterback Joe Milton, who threw for 378 yards and three touchdowns. Complementing his aerial attack, Jeremiyah Love contributed significantly on the ground with 99 rushing yards, while Trey McBride showcased his receiving prowess, racking up an impressive 207 yards. This trio consistently found ways to exploit the Commanders’ defense, leading to a lopsided scoreline. On the defensive side, the Cardinals made their presence felt with a key interception from Will Johnson, which stifled any hopes of a Washington comeback. Walter Nolen III added pressure with half a sack, but it was the overall team effort that forced the Commanders into difficult situations throughout the game. The turning point came early in the second quarter when Arizona scored two quick touchdowns, effectively putting the game out of reach and setting the tone for the rest of the contest.
