In a commanding performance, the San Francisco 49ers topped the Minnesota Vikings 44-20 in Week 11 of the 2026 season. The victory not only boosts the 49ers' playoff hopes but also solidifies their dominance in the NFC West, showcasing their potent offensive capabilities. Quarterback Brock Purdy led the charge for San Francisco, throwing for an impressive 417 yards and three touchdowns, connecting with his receivers at will. De'Zhaun Stribling emerged as Purdy's favorite target, racking up 163 receiving yards, while Christian McCaffrey added to the offensive onslaught with 98 rushing yards, keeping the Vikings' defense on their heels throughout the contest. Defensively, the Vikings struggled to contain the 49ers’ high-octane offense, unable to generate enough pressure or turnovers to change the momentum. The turning point came in the second quarter when San Francisco scored back-to-back touchdowns, putting them up by three scores and forcing Minnesota to play catch-up for the remainder of the game. Despite a strong effort from James Pierre, who led the Vikings with ten tackles, the defense couldn't keep pace with the 49ers' explosive playmakers.
