The New York Jets defeated the Detroit Lions 29-15 in a decisive Week 3 matchup of the 2026 season. With this victory, the Jets continue to solidify their position in the playoff race, showcasing their offensive firepower against a struggling Lions squad. Cade Klubnik led the Jets' offensive charge with an impressive 240 passing yards, delivering crucial completions to keep drives alive. Breece Hall contributed significantly on the ground, racking up 74 rushing yards, while the Lions' Jared Goff threw for two touchdowns, attempting to rally his team back into contention. However, the Jets' balanced attack proved too much for Detroit to handle. Defensively, the Jets made pivotal plays that shifted momentum in their favor.
