In a commanding performance, the Jacksonville Jaguars topped the Denver Broncos 38-14 in Week 2 of the 2026 season. With both teams looking to establish their identities early in the year, the Jaguars showcased their offensive prowess while the Broncos struggled to keep pace. Trevor Lawrence was the standout for Jacksonville, throwing for an impressive 372 yards and five touchdowns, demonstrating his elite arm talent and poise. Complementing his efforts, Brian Thomas Jr. had a breakout game with 201 receiving yards, consistently finding ways to exploit the Broncos' secondary. RJ Harvey, despite the loss, shone for Denver with a remarkable 191 rushing yards, but it wasn't enough to overcome Jacksonville's offensive barrage. Defensively, the Jaguars made crucial plays that shifted the momentum in their favor. Antonio Johnson led the charge with six total tackles, while Travis Hunter added an interception that halted a promising Broncos drive. The game's turning point came late in the first half when Lawrence connected with Thomas Jr. for a deep touchdown, extending Jacksonville's lead and putting them firmly in control.
