In the opening week of the 2026 season, the Indianapolis Colts delivered a commanding performance, defeating the Baltimore Ravens 28-6. With both teams eager to make a statement, the Colts showcased their dominance at home, setting a strong tone for the season ahead. Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson Sr was a standout, throwing for 221 yards and two touchdowns, effectively leading his team’s offense. Running back Jonathan Taylor added a solid ground game with 58 rushing yards, while the Colts' passing attack found its rhythm early, allowing them to control the tempo throughout the match. Defensively, the Colts were equally impressive, with Sauce Gardner recording an interception that stifled any momentum the Ravens tried to build. The turning point came early in the second half when Gardner's pick set up another scoring drive for Indianapolis, pushing their lead to three touchdowns and leaving Baltimore struggling to recover. Darius Rush's three tackles also highlighted the Colts' defensive resilience, ensuring the Ravens could never find their footing.
