The Las Vegas Raiders topped the Miami Dolphins 40-23 in a decisive Wildcard Round matchup, advancing their playoff hopes in the 2026 season. With both teams vying for a spot in the next round, the Raiders showcased their offensive firepower, ensuring a commanding victory at home. Fernando Mendoza was the standout performer for Las Vegas, throwing for four touchdowns and demonstrating exceptional efficiency. Malik Willis led the Dolphins with impressive passing numbers, racking up 351 yards, but it wasn’t enough to keep pace with the Raiders' offensive onslaught. Jalen Tolbert also had a notable performance for Miami, amassing 161 receiving yards, yet the Dolphins struggled to convert their yardage into points. Defensively, the Raiders were bolstered by Jeremy Chinn's game-changing performance, as he snagged three interceptions that shifted momentum in Las Vegas's favor. Eric Stokes contributed with five tackles, helping to stifle the Dolphins' attempts to rally. The turning point came late in the second quarter when Chinn's second interception set up Mendoza’s third touchdown pass, giving the Raiders a comfortable lead that they maintained throughout the game.
