The New York Giants narrowly defeated the Washington Commanders 26-20 in a tightly contested Week 10 matchup of the 2026 season. With both teams vying for a crucial win to bolster their playoff aspirations, the stakes were high as the Giants managed to hold off a late rally from Washington. Jaxson Dart led the Giants' offensive charge with 218 passing yards, delivering key plays when it mattered most. Cam Skattebo complemented the passing game with a strong ground performance, racking up 88 rushing yards, while Malik Nabers emerged as Dart's favorite target, finishing with 101 receiving yards. Jayden Daniels threw for two touchdowns for the Commanders, but it wasn't enough to secure the victory. Defensively, the Giants made their presence felt, with Abdul Carter recording a sack and Dru Phillips snagging an interception, both of which played pivotal roles in the outcome. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter when Phillips' interception halted a promising Commanders drive, allowing the Giants to maintain their lead and ultimately secure the win. The Giants' defense stepped up when it mattered most, sealing the victory and keeping their playoff hopes alive.
