The Minnesota Vikings dominated the Detroit Lions with a final score of 63-17, solidifying their playoff aspirations in Week 15 of the 2026 season. With this decisive victory, the Vikings showcased their offensive prowess and made a strong statement as they head into the final stretch of the regular season. Kyler Murray was nothing short of spectacular, throwing for 341 yards and five touchdowns, leading the charge for Minnesota's high-octane offense. He connected frequently with Jordan Addison, who racked up an impressive 189 receiving yards, further amplifying the Vikings' aerial assault. Demond Claiborne also contributed significantly on the ground, rushing for 113 yards, helping to keep the Lions' defense on its heels throughout the game. Defensively, the Vikings were relentless, highlighted by Jakobe Thomas' seven tackles and James Pierre's two interceptions, which were instrumental in stifling any momentum the Lions attempted to build. The game's turning point came midway through the second quarter when Pierre's first interception set up another touchdown, extending Minnesota's lead to an insurmountable margin. With both sides of the ball clicking, the Vikings proved too formidable, leaving the Lions with little hope of a comeback.
