In a tightly contested Week 14 matchup, the Denver Broncos topped the New York Jets 24-18, solidifying their playoff aspirations as the season winds down. Both teams entered the game with high stakes, but it was the Broncos who ultimately emerged victorious, showcasing their offensive prowess and defensive resilience. Leading the charge for Denver was quarterback Bo Nix, who threw for 309 yards and two touchdowns, effectively orchestrating the offense. Wide receiver Courtland Sutton was a standout target, racking up 146 receiving yards and providing crucial plays that kept the Jets' defense on its heels. Meanwhile, Breece Hall of the Jets put up a commendable effort on the ground with 96 rushing yards, but it wasn't enough to secure the win. Defensively, the Broncos made significant contributions, with Zach Allen recording a pivotal sack that disrupted the Jets' momentum at a crucial moment. The game turned when Denver's defense held strong late in the fourth quarter, forcing the Jets to settle for a field goal instead of a potential game-tying touchdown. This defensive stand, coupled with the Broncos' offensive execution, was key in sealing the victory and keeping their playoff hopes alive.
